We believe that the enemy attacks through oppression or possession. All people can be "oppressed" by evil spirits and that only non-Christians can be "possessed" by evil spirits. Oppression is one of two things. First is when the enemy is attacking you either because of your willful sin, disobedience, or lack of repentance. Second is because it is his nature.
The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy. If we give the Devil or his demons any grounds to stay in our life, then they will continue to attack Wouldn't it be amazing if the enemy says "This one is too strong in his/her faith. Lets go elsewhere" But honestly, most people we know have willful sin in their life. Some examples are sexual immorality such as living together without being married, having a sexual relationship outside of marriage, gambling, getting drunk, idolatry, and many more.
Possession is only by someone that does not have the Holy Spirit ... they have not asked and accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Have you ever seen someone acting crazy and shouting obscene things and you were wondering what in the world were they doing? There's a good chance they are possessed..
What makes us different? We provide inner healing. This is where find out where trauma came in, where fear came in, and where strongholds came in. We do not speak to demons. At the beginning of the session, we say a binding evil prayer and tell any demon that they will not show themselves but they will leave when commanded (All in Jesus' name).
